Deadline extended for sugar export permits

NEW DELHI: The Food Ministry has given one month more to mills and factories to apply for sugar export permits.

"The government has considered the request of ISMA and NFCSF (industry bodies) and decided to extend the last date for submission of application for obtaining release orders for export of sugar by 30 days," an official release said.
