Mumbai, February 9:

Sugar prices at the Vashi market dropped by ₹10-20 a quintal as producers sold the commodity at ₹15-20 lower on limited demand. Lifting pressure on stockists kept them away from fresh bulk buys. Naka rates were unchanged.

The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,942-4,002 (3,956-4,020) and M-grade ₹4,016-4,281 (4,020-4,281). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,920-3,980 (3,920-3,980) and M-grade ₹3,980-4,030 (3,980-4,030).
