Shamli, Uttar Pradesh: Leaders of Kisan Majdoor Sanghatan presented a memorandum to the Chief Minister through DM regarding sugarcane prices, reported Live Hindustan.

In the memorandum submitted to the District Magistrate Ravindra Singh, they highlighted that the sugarcane price for the 2023-24 season has not been announced yet. They urged the state government to promptly declare the sugarcane price at ₹400 per quintal for the farmers. The memorandum also emphasized the need to address the damage caused by stray cattle and take steps to capture such animals.
