Price of maida increased while moong dal and sugar prices decreased while the rest of the commodities are ruling steady on the opening day today in the wholesale foodgrain market here. Maida (90 kg) price was up Rs.100 to Rs.2,500 from its closing rate of Rs.2,400. Moong dal price fell sharply Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.10,800 from its previous rate of Rs.11,000. Sugar was down marginally by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.2,700 from its last closing rate of Rs.2,750.
Thoor dal (Rs.10,800), Urad dal (Rs.10,900),Gram Dal Rs.6,400, Wheat (Rs.3,000) and Sooji(90 kg) (Rs.3,000) opened this week at its previous rates.
