Indonesia eases rules for sugar imports from India

Indonesia,

which has benefited from India’s import curbs on palm oil, has decided to ease rules to allow more shipment of Indian sugar. The move is seen to be part of measures to boost bilateral trade at a time when Indonesia also needs additional supply from India to meet rising household consumption.
