Raw sugar futures on ICE turned higher on Friday after dipping to their lowest level in more than three weeks, while cocoa prices rose following a record Asian third-quarter grind.
March raw sugar was up 0.02 cent, at 12.26 cents per pound at 1100 GMT after touching a low of 12.20 cents, the weakest price for the contract since September 24.
December white sugar was down $0.50, at $338.50 a tonne. December New York cocoa rose $16, to $2,504 a tonne.
March London cocoa was up £4 , at £1,870 a tonne.
December arabica coffee fell 0.05 cent, to 92.85 cents per pound. January robusta coffee fell $6, at $1,221 a tonne, drifting down towards a contract low of $1,211 set on Wednesday.
