London, July 20: Cocoa futures firmed on Friday following mixed global grindings results, while sugar hit a fresh three-month high before steadying and arabica coffee edged lower.
ICE September cocoa futures rose $25 to $2,255 a tonne at 1128 GMT. London September cocoa was up £20 at £1,552 a tonne.
Sugar markets steadied after hitting a fresh three-month high in early trade, supported by rains in Brazil further delaying harvest and ship loadings, and India's weak monsoon.
Benchmark October sugar futures on ICE eased 0.1 cent to 23.22 cents a lb. White sugar futures on Liffe edged up with October $2.10 higher at $638.40 a tonne.
Arabica futures on ICE were slightly lower with September down 1.35 cent at $1.8760 a lb.
Robusta coffee futures on Liffe were slightly lower with September down $8 at $ 2,184 a tonne.
